I've always loved working with people to conquer fears, accomplish goals and connect with each other.
After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Communication Studies, I spent the next five years working as an educator, non-profit manager, team building facilitator and outdoor guide. I learned to mediate conflict in high-stress situations, worked to empower women and girls through adventure programs, and tinker with the many ways leadership shows up in our society.
Looking for a new challenge, I was consulting for a few startups when a new opportunity brought me to a role shaping culture and operations at Strava Inc, a rapidly growing tech company in Silicon Valley. While the pressure and politics of the corporate environment were new to me, I loved diving into familiar challenges around diversity and inclusion, learning, development and team dynamics. I found myself again drawn to the "human" side of the organization. As I looked for my own career development, a colleague introduced me to coaching, and I knew I'd found my calling.
Coaching relies heavily on intuition, curiosity, creativity, and accountability; I was hooked. After going through The Coaches Training Institute's Certification Program and getting my own coach, I experienced incredible changes within myself and the world I was choosing to create.
For me, there is nothing more gratifying than partnering with a person to support them through change. My clients are willing to dig deep, get messy, laugh a lot and dream big! They inspire me daily.
I believe everyone is naturally creative, resourceful and whole.
Personally, I love being out in nature - whether on an adventure or just dipping my toes in a river. Backpacking, climbing, swimming and mountain biking are a few of my favorite things. I'm also usually working on an art project - painting in watercolor, writing, making pottery or mixing all three! I was born and raised in San Francisco and currently reside in Joshua Tree, California where I coach clients remotely around the world.
